Our Services

Daily Home Care.

Daily Tasks Shared Living is provided to the NDIS participants in a shared living arrangement. Our qualified staff assists and supervises the routine tasks performed by the individuals on a daily basis according to each participant’s care plan and helps them develop the necessary skills required to live an autonomous life where possible. This provision helps the participants with complex needs to work on their skills, perform their daily tasks safely, and stay in a comfortable environment whilst living as autonomously as possible.

Non-Medical In-home Care

Non-medical home care is long-term care that is provided to a client that does not involve medical services or skilled nursing services. Instead, home care is meant to help provide support for many of the other physical and lifestyle needs that older adults face, from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

There are many different levels of care available, depending on the unique needs of the older adult, and your preferences and needs as a family caregiver. In some cases, home care can focus on providing companionship, giving adults the social support they need to live an active, enriching lifestyle. For others, non-medical home care may focus on providing help with routine activities of daily living, like sitting, standing, or moving around.

Hospital to Home Care

We are able to provide support with hospital discharge at short notice on an emergency basis or following a scheduled hospital visit for planned operations such as hip replacement or major surgery. Our specialist home care management team will work closely with you, your family and other healthcare professionals involved to ensure you are able to enjoy a safe and prompt return to the comfort and familiarity of your own home. This may include working alongside the Discharge Team, occupational therapists, social services, doctors and District Nurses.

Client Care

We have all experienced bad customer service at one point and a shared factor in this terrible experience is the lack of communication. When dealing with clients, the client should be ensured that they can contact you if they need to and they are updated and informed on the work that you are doing. You can build these strong communication skills by taking advantage of different methods of contact (email, phone, or video), addressing clients directly when handling issues or queries and speaking simply and concisely.

Personal Care Assistance

This support aims at providing assistance with the daily personal activities, to enable the participants to perform the daily tasks comfortably. At Right Choice Care Support, we assist and supervise the participants with routine tasks including but not limited to personal and oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, bowel management, and menstrual care.
We support and encourage the participants to use the appropriate support aids and appliances like hearing and/or communication aids as recommended when performing daily personal activities.

We ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all our participants and make sure they live independently.

Bathing

The household tasks that require extensive support, and are difficult to be managed by the participants alone are performed by us at Right Choice Care Support.

As your NDIS provider, we assist you with all the household tasks which include but are not limited to Bathing, laundry, dish washing, meal preparation, showering and grooming, garden maintenance and general cleaning.

Transportation

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) drivers make dozens of trips on a weekly basis, taking patients to hospitals and other outpatient healthcare facilities. Patients with chronic illnesses and disabilities often rely on these drivers to get them to these facilities and back home. While on the job, these drivers face a number of exposures that could result in injuries, including hurting their backs while assisting a patient, or being involved in a vehicular accident as they perform their duties.

Accompany to Doctor

While a caregiver’s presence can be extremely beneficial in terms of providing increased support during a visit with the doctor, it can also interfere with an older adult’s sense of independence. Ultimately, the decision regarding your level of participation lies with the patient. It can be helpful to offer your partnership — instead of your control. This approach fosters the relationships between the patient, caregiver and healthcare provider.

You might also suggest a trial period during which your aging loved one may realize that your presence provides critical support and enhanced communication — an essential component of effective doctor-patient relationships. This also gives you insight into determining whether your presence is necessary.

Companionship

Companionship is when you feel a sense of closeness being with another person. Your grandmother’s companionship with her best friend might keep her feeling young and happy.

You probably experience companionship with your best friend or romantic partner, or maybe even with your siblings. A feeling of fellowship or togetherness is companionship

Sitting Services

Our Sitting Service is similar to Live-In Care. The key difference is that your care assistants do not live in your home – instead, you will receive two extended visits per day.

Our Sitting Service provides service users with continuous support throughout the day and night. Care is delivered in two 12-hour instalments, with a day care and night care assistant there to support you at all times. While they’ll help you to carry out your daily activities, your assistants will also respect your boundaries and will understand if you would prefer to carry out certain activities on your own.

Medication Reminders

Staying healthy and getting your medications exactly when your body needs them is vital, but sometimes you just forget.

In a 2017 high level study involving 1,198 adults, they were found to have medication delays 80–85 percent of the time and to have forgotten medication 44–46 percent of the time.

Thankfully, there are many products and services out there that add ease and simplicity to adhering to your medication regimen.
